But that is a fallacy. You see, they even said in the video that 2 out of every 5 voters actually participate. Not only that, this is a problem with democracy: if the majority decide, then it must be a law that applies to every person. But what if tthat? law violates your own personal standards? Beside - considering this is a video about Switzerland - there is no comparison in quality of life? between Switzerland and the US. The Swiss are all very well educated (not just the top 2-3%!). Have you ever been to Zurich? The city simply feels high grade. It is built to stay whereas American city usually feel like they are made of cardboard and plastic and racked up in two years! The US simply is trashy, there is far too much crime, poverty and terrible edu!

I think it mostly depends on how? many years you spend working for a company or for the state. but life can be pricey because by law you must pay your own heath care insurance so if you go to a doctor I think the insurance will pay half of the bill but it won´t pay your medication...(you should find out by yourself) If something costs $400 it does not necesseraly mean your salary will be $100 000 a year it depends on what kind of job you´re working at.:-)

If I make $50,000 a year in the states and spend $200 on a decent phone, for example, and the phone is the equivalent of $400 in Switzerland, would I be making the equivalent of $100,000 there? Switzeerland is not part of? the EU, the crime rate in switzerland is very low and Geneva is a very, very quiet and healthy city. The unemployment is very low but living in Geneva could be a bit pricy but you should find out by yourself because I haven´t gone there for some time.... I hope that helps

I've been three times for work. Nice city. Climate is great and much to see in a town of its size (UN buildings, ancient Roman etc. history, food is great...). It's? not cheap though and it does close up early (again, it's not a big city). Very central and easy to visit neighbouring France/ Italy/ etc.

Wonderful video work, really. Another beautiful place that I will never get to see. It's a shame that they used concrete to line the waterway, it looks very ugly. They should have used boulders and willows in order to make the area look more natural. Nice that they have preserved so many of the old buildings, but some of the new ones look? really out of place, they need more strict design guidelines to maintain the charm of the place.

Beautiful- I always wondered what it would be like to be there in? the summertime. Was there many years ago in December for skiing (which was great and beautiful as well). Must go back someday in Summer... the snow was so deep for that half of the week I spent there many places were inaccessible... Skiiing was some of the best ever though! Great video- very nicely done !

I judge that with my ears and 40 years of musical experience. Laugh as much as you want... It is my opinion and I am entitled to? express it. I see a lot of cerebral players, playing this or that technique, many more vomiting licks I heard elsewhere millions of times, and sounding like clones of each other. But Metheny has a very distinct and original phrasing that can be recognized immediately. When Metheny was 18 year-old he was teaching at Berklee. John Scofield among his students.
